About GleenGlass

GleenGlass LLC was founded in 2006 to recycle post consumer and post industrial flat glass into new 100% glass products for residential and commercial kitchen and bath use.

The methods we use to recycle glass encompass best practices from glass fusing, stone working and pottery crafting to deliver products that are beautiful, durable and green. GleenGlass products help projects qualify for LEED and other environmentally friendly certification.

GleenGlass is an artisan studio. All our products are hand made and finished. Unlike other products which contain some glass as a component, GleenGlass products are 100% glass, no cement, resins or epoxies are used.

GleenGlass products are offered through a growing network of stone and tile and kitchen/bath showrooms nationwide.

GleenGlass Principal and Founder John Sauer strives to live and create in the style of wabi, sabi and shibui; design ideals increasingly germane to the challenges we face in the pursuit of life and harmony.

GleenGlass designs are evoked by the movement of water and the need for vessels and surfaces which serve the needs their users in approachability, usability, upkeep and maintenance.

GleenGlass is an associate member of the Marble Institute of America.
