GleenGlass™ creates recycled glass surfaces for use in residential and commercial kitchen, bath and other installations.
Glass is the ideal surface material. Non-pourous, beautiful and durable, architects and designers are increasingly specifying glass alongside of or as an alternative to traditional surface materials.
Unlike many of the so-called recycled glass products in the market today, GleenGlass surfaces are 100% glass and formed from 25% to 100% recycled glass. Our green practices won GleenGlass recycled glass countertops an award as one of the Top 10 Green Products of 2008 by Kitchen & Bath Design News.
GleenGlass surfaces are offered in 26" x 62" panels at 1-inch thickness. Panels can be cut, sawn, drilled, seamed and polished with standard stone and tile fabrication practices.
GleenGlass Cobble™
GleenGlass Cobble panels are formed from 100% recycled glass, broken into small chunks or cobbles and melted together at very high heat. We hone the surface to a smooth matte finish which can be polished to your specification.
Cobble panels are opaque and deep, with a gem-like pattern that is perfect for work surfaces or use in applications where a back-lit presentation is desired.
GleenGlass Gleen™
GleenGlass Gleen panels are formed from 100% recycled glass strips and squares fused together at very high heat. The result is a uniform opaque color with wonder lines and swirl of edge detail.
Gleen was our first recycled surface product and is a hallmark of green products and lifestyle. The surface finish is similar to linen and the edges when polished offer a wonderful feeling of depth and motion.
GleenGlass Journey™
GleenGlass Journey panels are the most versatile GleenGlass surface products. Formed from layers of 25% or more recycled glass sheets, Journey panels are clear and have a textured side that reminds us of a topographic map.
Journey panels are a popular choice for commercial installations because their clarity enhances design. We have the ability to add color to the bottom of the panel so they can be color-matched to any decor.
