GleenGlass Vessels
What we love most about GleenGlass vessels
is how they interact with water. Glass is much like water frozen into
shape and the dance of water in spirals to the drain, moves light in an
entrancing and ever-changing way.
Each GleenGlass vessel is approximately 1 inch thick and either 18 inches
in diameter, with an average depth of 6 inches.
GleenGlass vessels are predrilled to fit a 1 3/4 inch drain. We also custom
develop vessels to meet residential and commercial specifications.

Shibui Vessels
Shibui is a Japanese concept for that which leads the viewer to discover
the beauty in an object for themselves. GleenGlass Shibui vessels are
the essence of simplicity in that there is nothing left to remove. Shibui
vessels capture the depth, vibrancy and unique green translucence of sea
glass. We leave the vessels in the natural clear color or lightly frost
them to give the weathered satin texture and color of glass smoothed and
softened by ocean, tide and sand. How often can one wash their hands and
touch the sea?
Available in natural and cobble.
Wabi Vessels
GleenGlass Wabi vessels capture fresh, simple design using the simple
form of a round vessel, timeless and pure, with the addition of colored
pigments or shards of glass. Exactly how we craft Wabi vessels depends
on what type of glass we have gleaned. Broken pieces of tempered glass
require different processes and higher heat. Sheet glass offers more flexibility
with fewer planes of dimension. Each is equally beautiful.
Available in blue/natural and black/natural.
Sabi Vessels
From the Japanese word for elegant simplicity in art, the Sabi series
captures understated elegance in a shape that is a square, yet not a square.
Using the vessel, one cannot help but trail their fingers over the edge,
feeling the meld of right angle and silky smooth glass, or watch the play
of water drawn ever toward the center by gravity.
Available in natural and cobble.
Dandelion Vessels
The simple green color of glass makes a wonderful canvas for striking
tones of copper, blue, and gold. These designs always remind us of sunset
on the Oregon coast and delightful times we spend at our Mom's Dandelion
Cottage, a magical place set amongst dunes where the roll and boom of
the surf lulls you and the mighty Pacific brings endless gifts of sea
glass, shells and agates. Sometimes brushed and sometimes applied with
other techniques, we strive to honor the simple essence of the glass with
just enough metallic to enhance and entrance.
Available in copper or gold. Blue accents
as specified.
